Responsibilities
- Support, maintain and further develop a data analytics platform built on Cloudera, both in the cloud, on-premise and hybrid
- Automate platform lifecycles according to IaC principles
- Review, audit and troubleshoot existing solutions and system architectures
- Participate in customer workshops and presentations of proposed solutions
- Explore available technologies to provide business support to our clients
- Get involved in Scigility internally, e.g.:
- Provide input to help shaping our technology strategy
- Do tech sessions to promote sharing internal knowledge
- Participate in pre-sales activities
- Be a mentor for new-joiners

Requirements
Must:
- Degree in computer science or equivalent
- Eligibility to work in Switzerland
- Experience with the Cloudera Data Platform Tools
- Proactive team player attitude with the ability to work independently and accurately in interdisciplinary projects
- Curiosity for new technologies and willingness to learn
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong command of English (C1) and German (B2)
- Hands-on experience in applying IaC and deployment automation using a Ansible, Terraform, or a similar technology
- Hands-on experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in Linux administration, networking & security setup and troubleshooting
- Good knowledge of DevOps methodologies
- Knowledge of Python or other programming language
Nice to have:
- Hands-on experience with
- Modern microservice architecture
- Big Data or distributed technologies (Hadoop, etc.)
- Kafka
