Site reliability engineers are hybrid software/systems engineers who ensure that Learn to Win systems run smoothly, securely, and scale. SREs combines software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, distributed, fault-tolerant systems. SREs ensure that Learn to Win's services—both our internally critical and externally-visible systems—have reliability, uptime appropriate to users' needs, and a fast rate of improvement. Additionally SRE's will keep an eye on our systems capacity and performance. Much of the software development you will do will focus on optimizing existing systems, building infrastructure and eliminating work through automation and infrastructure as code (IaC). As the first SRE team member, you'll have the opportunity to influence and build out Learn to Win's engineering culture and systems while using your expertise in coding, algorithms, complexity analysis and large-scale system design.

The ideal candidate for that position should have the attitude and skills to automate as much as possible of our internal processes in order to deliver solutions that satisfy our customers and the fast moving pace of our teams.
