Please note: this role is located in our Denver, CO office; we work off a hybrid model and come into the office 2 days per week.
Job Description

If so, you are the at the right place! We are looking for someone who will be instrumental in ensuring reliability of Tipico's Sports Betting and Casino application for our users. Someone who can take their own initiative and share their ideas as well as lead the team by example. We want innovators, we want doers!
- Be the first point of contact to our Operations and Dev teams for any questions and issues regarding our platform.
- Responsibility to have the right monitoring tools in place and react on upcoming alerts in 24/7 oncalls.
- Positive attitude and the ability to understand the critical urgency of topics along with extremely strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Monitoring, analyzing, debugging, configuring, and scaling of components and systems with ELK, Prometheus, Jenkins and many more.
- Providing counsel to our internal software engineering team and proactively suggesting improvements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in software engineering with experience in software development and infrastructure
- Practical experience in AWS API usage (CLI, CloudFormation, Terraform, Boto3)
- Experience with Linux and CLI as well as knowledge of HTTP, REST and JSON
- Expertise in system integration and distributed microservice systems including their behavior of scaling
- Experience in container and monitoring tools like Kubernetes, Docker, ELK, Prometheus
- Experience using Java with strong code reading and understanding skills
- Knowledge of messaging or streaming frameworks like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar
- Experience with CI and Source control systems such as Jenkins and Git.
- Familiarity with Relational and/or NoSQL databases.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Spring Framework, IoC.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as React or similar.
- Online gaming and gambling experience
- Worked in FinTech companies, familiar with transaction-based applications
